Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #59 Shakespeare in Love

Romeo and Juliet Inspired projects.

Poison...

Love note to one another.
Here is the Wikipedia answer to who's drank poison and how the tragic story ends. Who's poisonous bottle this truly belongs to... it's up to you...

The messenger, however, does not reach Romeo and, instead, he learns of Juliet's apparent death from his servant Balthasar. Heartbroken, Romeo buys poison from anapothecary and goes to the Capulet crypt. He encounters Paris who has come to mourn Juliet privately. Believing Romeo to be a vandal, Paris confronts him and, in the ensuing battle, Romeo kills Paris. Still believing Juliet to be dead, he drinks the poison. Juliet then awakens and, finding Romeo dead, stabs herself with his dagger. The feuding families and the Prince meet at the tomb to find all three dead. Friar Laurence recounts the story of the two "star-cross'd lovers". The families are reconciled by their children's deaths and agree to end their violent feud. The play ends with the Prince's elegy for the lovers: "For never was a story of more woe / Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."[5]

Sense I have have never seen this movie I decided to get my inspiration for one of Shakespeare's greatest works... Take a guess..... The clothing and all the adornment details that accompanied it was my starting place... Here in Utah we have a Shakespearian Festival it is truly a treasure to have this program in our state. This is a festive that many family look forward to every year and make it a much do vacation and Tradition. This Theater group from Southern Utah University are Tony award holders because of their excellence.. My first memorial experience with Shakespeare was watching the 6th grade production of Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet my 6th grade year... I also found out while reading up on this movie that one of my favorite actresses received an Oscar for best supporting role.. Dame Judi Dench as Queen Elizabeth...
Actually I can't believe how many awards this one... I {Heart} period movies so I will have to find an edited version so I can defiantly watch this one... I really enjoyed the challenge this week I love making vintage inspired projects..

Join us this week for the challenge at Cinema Saturday... I challenge you to make a card/project that is truly inspired by this movie so when we look at it we have no doubt what inspired you project..
Enjoy the movie and challenge...

I will try sooo very hard so squeeze them in before I leave town... My projects are not cards.. So don't forget that you can think outside the box here on Cinema Saturday and explore you creative side..
I love the premise of this movie... Princess Ann just want's to be a everyday girl.. She wants to just be able to live and do as she wished with out all the restrictions and regiment that is part of her life... This is just a delightful movie... I can't wait to be able to watch it again from start to finish...
And oh the Irony... The Princess was right there under his nose the whole time.. .Staying at his place sleeping in his bed... You will just have to watch the movie to see all the adventure she has while living a life NOT as the princess...

Can't wait to see what you all create this week...THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE LOVE YOU HAVE SENT OUR WAY... You all are so sweet

If you want to see loads of great photos you can check out this sight I found.. Or visit IMDB here.

#1 project Fabric Roses with pearls.

#2 project
Black and white Amy Butler Birdie Bag..
Inspired by the black and white movie. Doesn't this bag look like you could just through it over your shoulder and jump on a Vespa.

My mother in-law came for a long visit so I decided we need a project to do together.. All the kids are in school so we would have lots of time to work on a project.. Sense we both love to sew and shop at quilt store we had this project in-the-bag... lol We had a great time making this project together... Hopefully we can make it a tradition to make a project together when she come to visit.

Hope you enjoy the Movie!!!
