Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #68 Spiderman

You Are The One I Want

Did we all grow up with this movie and or guy or what.. I even remember watching Spiderman back in the day when he only spoke in though bubbles on the original "Electric Company" back in the "70's" yikes... I really loved this challenge I new weeks ago that I was going to make a floating spider.. I do have another card in mind as well. Hope I get it done so I can share.. I am so glad to have the chance to make a card or 2 for boys to have on hand...

The of the aspect of the Spiderman movies I like is watching Peter Parker struggle between having confidence and finding the strength to be a Hero... It reminds us all about our struggle between good and bad choices..
This cute little poem was actually a line that a punk rocker chick said
to Spiderman in the movie..
Spiderman, Spiderman,
 Does whatever a spider can.
 Spins a web, any size,
 Catches thieves just like flies.
Look out!
Here comes the Spiderman.

Is he strong? Listen bud— He's got radioactive blood.
Can he swing from a thread?
Take a look overhead.
Hey there! There goes the Spiderman.

In the chill of the night,
At the scene of the crime,
 Like a streak of light,
 He arrives just in time!

Spiderman, Spiderman,
 Friendly neighborhood Spiderman.
Wealth and fame, he's ignored—
Action is his reward.
To him, Life is a great big bang-up—
Wherever there's a hang-up, You'll find the Spiderman!

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #67 - Tristan & Isolde

If you have just come from our challenge blog... The San-dollar is the unique element I added that might not make sense if you have not seen the movie.. The answer for the sand dollar is the sea... The Sea is what brought them together so I though a little tribute was a great idea.

Ok. I have to say I got totally sucked into this movie.. I was looking for a quote that would summarize this movie in one statement, so I did a little YouTube of this move and I was instantly hooked. I left the main computer and grabbed the laptop and headed down to my crafty place. I watched EVERY scene of this movie and it all felt so familiar but new at the same time. The last time I watched this movie I was on my way to England (ironically) and was trying to rest. The lady who was sitting next to me yacked the whole time. Now don't get me wrong; I can talk as well as anyone or better but it was LATE and I had taken half a sleeping pill to be able to rest. So watching it again made me feel like I had found an old friend with this movie.

I found this quote from the scene when Isolde is reading poetry to Tristan when he was recovered from the sea. Then she repeats the poem to Tristan as they depart one another in the end of the movie.

What a great movie and a great challenge... You won't want to miss this one.. Come play along.. Don't forget we have inspiration starters and loads of samples to inspire...

It's Still Valentines Day For Us.. With a small heart-attack

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

We are still celebrating Valentines Day here at our house.. We spend every 2nd Sunday at my Mom and Dads house so we didn't get to have our Valentines day traditions with our little family.. So we decided that we would Celebrate today as well sense the kids didn't have school.
While I finished a few things up and decorated for our Valentines dinner Dad and the kids headed of to the MAC store and the Mall for a few i-pod and i-touch fixes..

Here are the Valentines I made for the Kids etc this year..

I will post pick of dinner later :)

Andrew's Valentine

Spencer's Valentine

Abbie's Valentine

Zach's Valentine

And you remember my Sweeties Valentine.. I have been hiding it all week and hoping that he didn't check my blog...

As I am stitting here typing this post I keep hearing the strangest noises come from out second story.. Every now and then a soft sound of something dropping??? Once and a while our little doggie give a pitiful bark at the noise.. Mind you I am home all alone in the peace and quite Abbie is off babysitting and Regan took the boys to the MAC store to get Spencer i-touch fixed.. So finally I just have to stand what all the dropping sound was all about and this is what I found!!!

I found Chocolates hearts with messages taped ALL over my walls. And they had been dropping off the wall in random places.. he,he....
They were even on the Mirror.
Every messages is different.. But this is one of my favorites... Ahhhhhh :) Melt my heart..
Regan is just to stinkin' cute.. I am the Luckiest girl ever to have him as mine...

Happy Valentines Day.. May all your days be Valentines day like mine...

More Valentine's Fun

Nothing like waiting until the night before :)

Abbie's Valentines for school class.
Abbie helped me soooo much until it just got way to late and I forced her to bed... Daddy helped my typing the sentiment and cutting it out.

Zach's valentines for school class.
Zach really wanted Rocket ships so dad came up with a cute saying and even made the words fit around the image.. Great thinking dad.
What was I thinking though... I could have just bought valentines day cards yesterday! But NO I had to make them and stay up until 3:30 to finish... I didn't get started until 8:00. It was sorth it thought.. I love the little kiddos! And this is Abbie last year before Jr high BOO!

Happy Valentines Day!

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #65 Sleepless in Seattle

ME and the TRUE LOVE OF MY
ETERNITY.
Married 19 AMAZING YEARS.

I think you can tell where I get my inspiration for this scrapbook page/Valentine for my sweetie. The Hear from the Empire state building. The majority of my inspiration comes from the true love that Sam(Tom Hanks) has for the love of his life. And the touching way her shared his memories of her. It's also represent opening your heart to find new love and a healing heart.

I love when Annie(Meg Ryan) and Becky(Rosie O'Donnell's) characters get lost in the movie "An Affair to Remember" we become part of their oh's and ah's as they crying over hope hopes and dreams of romance in their own lives.

I funny thing in this movie I can relate to it the code cracking that the adults have a problem solving.. Remember when the kids Jonah and Jessica say things like:
Jessica: H & G.
Sam has a look like what?
Jessica:
High and Goodbye.
Jessica giving a look like duh!

I feel that same way with some of the texting lingo... I am pretty hip I like to think.. But come on the the only teen I text is mine and he doesn't speak in code to me... LOL.

Did I mention this is also one of my sweeties favorite movies...
He said "The chemistry between Tom and Megan at the end of the move on top of the Empire State building is just amazing. It's hard to beat that"

Is he adorable or what. (heart melter for sure and he is all mine)

Valentines for kiddos class mates.
