"As you take the normal opportunities of your daily life and create something of beauty and helpfulness,
you improve not only the world around you but also the world within you"
Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Thanks A Million!
When a reformed jewel thief is suspected of returning to his former occupation, he must ferret out the real thief in order to prove his innocence.
Trivia:
- Won Oscar and 4 other nominations.
- John Robie mentions that as a youth he was in a trapeze group that traveled around Europe. In real life, Cary Grant was in an acrobatic troupe that toured around Europe (and eventually came to America) when he was young.
- According to the script, the character John Robie was 35. Cary Grant was 50 at the time of filming.
- On 14 September 1982, Grace Kelly was killed in an automobile accident in Monaco, supposedly on the very same road as her famous chase scene in this film and not far from where she had a picnic scene with Cary Grant. She was 52 years old and lost control of her car after apparently suffering a stroke while at the wheel.

What A classic.. I haven't seen this movie in ages. When I started viewing this movie I was trying to think ahead.. In a few seconds it all came flooding back.. I felt like it was just yesterday sense I had seen this classic.. All it took was a single word. "CAT" and I had that
A HA moment. Then I was thinking in my mind wildly about the whole story .. And who the CAT really was... You have to LOVE the two main player in this show. The Hunky Cary Grant and the beautiful Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly.. While I was watching this movie I was just in ahhhh of her beauty...
My inspiration for this card came from the outfit Grace Kelly character "Frances Stevens" is wearing while on the drive along the French Rivera.

This weeks card was inspired by the outfits as the Ascot as a starting point. I also have lots of hidden meaning through the card. All the formal blacks, grays and whites are so elegant. I added just a little flair of color to remember Eliza's presence at the ascot..
Just a little trivia:
The single most important costume ever created for a motion picture, Audrey Hepburn's Ascot Ascot (ăs`kət), town, Windsor and Maidenhead, S central England. The famous horse races instituted by Queen Anne in 1711 are held annually in June on Ascot Heath. Ascot remains an important social and fashion event, attended by the royal family. dress from "My Fair Lady," designed by Academy Award(R)-winner Cecil Beaton with an estimated value of US$100,000-$150,000; I had a butterfly in my head from the start. Just imagine a homely little caterpillar that emerges into a beautiful butterfly. The songs are just so catchy you can't help but sing them aloud. How about: With a little bit...with a little bit...
With a little bit of bloomin luck!
There is the floral inspiration for my card.
You're not the "EMBOSS" of me... Eliza is reminding you to all to add "A LITTLE BIT"
of embossing on your projects this week for our challenge.
Wouldn't it be Loverly...
(sentiment inspiration)
It's rather dull in town, I think I'll take me to Paree.
Mmmmmm.
The mistress wants to open up
The castle in Capri.
Me doctor recommends a quiet summer by the sea!
Mmmm, Mmmm, wouldn't it be loverly?
Eliza All I want is a room somewhere,
Far away from the cold night air.
With one enormous chair,
Aow, wouldn't it be loverly?
Lots of choc'lates for me to eat,
Lots of coal makin' lots of 'eat.
Warm face, warm 'ands, warm feet,
Aow, wouldn't it be loverly?
Aow, so loverly sittin' abso-bloomin'-lutely still.
I would never budge 'till spring
Crept over me windowsill.
Someone's 'ead restin' on my knee,
Warm an' tender as 'e can be. 'ho takes good care of me,
Aow, wouldn't it be loverly?
Loverly, loverly, loverly, loverly
