Look how I ran into on the way to class.. "BIG T" himself the one and only Thurl Baily our former JAZZ player. He is an amazing singer If you ever get the change to hear him luck you.. He and his wife give the most amazing church firesides... He shares his conversion story... So touching...   Wierdest this ever..... I have never felt so short in all my life! I am about 5'10 and his waist is only up to my chest... How funny is that.... My Kids are so jealous of this picture... (HE,HE)

Convention Check-in Day

WOW!! How amazing was today! I meet so many amazing women.. I thought I would post just a few fun pictures for you all to see all the fun new toys.

SU Friends 4-ever Yahoo stamp group.... How much fun was that dinner!! SO great!! I made some amazing new friends... Such generous ladies.. SO TALENTED!!

Me and the AMAZING PATTY BENNETT..  She gave me the cutest swap card and I didn't even have my cards with me.  I WILL fine her tomorrow....

I {Heart} the new convention bag all these amazing goodies were in them.. We even got  to pick up the new Spanish catalog...

Momento Mall madness. When I walked through the doors this morning I about died... Oh My crap.. That was one major huge line! Evidently the line was 3 hours earlier that day. Last time I waited in this long of a line in Salt Lake City was for the 2002 Olympic store.. The time went to quick today. We just talked and talked and talked and did I mention we didn't have any kid with us.... 

It's just so hard not to want it all. Can you believe that I didn't even buy it all.. The were sweaters, shirts,  charms bracelets, posters and stuffed animals that I didn't buy..

O.K. this is what I bought so far (he, he) click on it for a close up it's all so cute. I bought the Stampin' Up logo lip balm for two reasons first because my DH said " Stampin' Up Lip stick are you kidding me" So I had to get some just for that alone. Second I think it's stinkin' cute...

Do you love this new apron of what! I couldn't pass this up.. It's matches the new Designer series paper of course.. The cute model was not for sale of course. I already payed for her years ago.. Wait i still seem to be paying for things left and right for her.... She is such a cutie and wants to have one of everything for her self as well. She is my biggest(little) fan..

Convention Swaps Finished...

100 of these baby's. I have a couple of organized swaps I will be trading with . And I will have a few already reserved  with online  friends.  I will only have limited to swap on the floor.. I really hope other take the time to do quality work or what's the point.

I made this set of cards the other night while I watched "Bride and Predjuice" A Bollywood version of "Pride and Predjuice" All the colors in movies from India have the most amazing colors.. I decided to use all the new IN-COLORS. I couldn't just choose one..  Brown is my new black I Love, love, love it... I have had an addiction with craft color paper for YEARS but I really love "Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip"...  I think My favorite new In-Color is "Baja Breeze" it's the light blue color in the photo.. They are defiantly growing on me...

I have a little case of the Summer Feet! My DH said "Why are you taking a picture of your feet" Look at the tan line it great. It's usually a lot more defined but it's been so hot lately. How does  high 90's and 100's sound? HOT! But today I am braving it. I am going to watch my 4 year old DS play in the splash pool. If only the older kids were content with that.... 

I {Heart} pink toes... I went for a manicure and a french tip yesterday for my finger nails. I will take a picture and show it because my nails DON'T grow this long ever! I love them :) and I am scared it will all have to come to an end soon when one breaks...:(

Mr. Brown finally came.

When I read my e-mail that gave me the delivery conformation I died.. 6 boxes! I think all my customers and my self included ordered the retiring tins. What a laugh.. The UPS guy was giggling a little bit when my kids were yelling "all that is for my mom. How much could a person order! " my 12 old son said.. I reassured him that it could defiantly be more than that... But alas it was not all mine but a club order. He said "Oh good!  Aren't kids the funniest... Now give momma her ribbon!! I have cards to finish!

Swap Sneek Peek. Shhh..

Today I was working on my swaps for Stampin'Up Convertion while the kids were playing in the pool. I though I would give you a sneek peek. Please let me know what you all think.. I am making about 100 I have two different swaps I am involved with. I with my Up and Downline group(40) Pam Morgan's group, And one at my Friend Wendy's (Wendybell) house on Friday night. If you are going to be at either I would love to know.. The rest I am taking to Convention... Maybe you can come find me for a swap.. I will only have 20 left...

Kristina's Color Challenge #16

For those of you who have seen this card already. Yes this is a new picture I posted of it.  I just didn't like the last photo. I wanted to wait until I had daylight. I love to shot photos with natural light and without a flash.

We had a great week-end. My sister Ginger was married on Saturday! She looked SO BEAUTIFUL. All my little sister looked beautiful in fact. My sweetie married the happy couple and did a fabulous job!  Our Wonderful Mother altered and added to the dark purple dressed and made the light purple dress along with her mothers outfit. She is so talented! My sister Amber made the wedding cake so amazing.. We now have an amazing new brother in-law who is so loving and supporting to my sister and her son. He is a very self-less person and brings out the best in both of them. We got to meet my Bro. in-law family that flew in from St. Thomas He has a great family and they were so much fun to meet. We dance to a great mix of music  like current hits, 80's, Scooby Doo theme (bro-in law hand picked it out for my 4 yrs old how cute is that) to great music from the Caribbean. What a great couple! We are so happy for their new family!

Kristina's Color Challenge #15

I made this cards while watching the movie "Music and Lyrics" it's a great show if grew up in the 80's and lived all it's music. Great Fun! 

This is my card for Kristina's Color challenge. This is another color combo I have never put together. I't was not to hard. I think I have an addiction to "Crystal Effects" though. It's just that it can make paper come to life when it would otherwise just look so boring and in need of just a little some thing for a focal point.

I love that we can be friends will stampers all over the world. 

8- The Land of a stay at home Military Wife (Bevithia)

 Bev is a major talented stamper. I am in ah of the things she comes up with. She really thinks outside of the box. Bev is also give me very generous comments. You have to jump over to her and see her man card it looks like a print it's so good. My current favorite is her ballerina card It made my day. You will want to make on too.

Khristina Color Challenge #14 "Hey Cupcake"

YA! I made the challenge in time. This will qualify for 2 challenges. Kristina's color challenge and Taylors Cupcake challenge.. YES a two for one!! I love the color combination she pick some of them really push me to look at thing in a new way.. I really hope she will use the in-colors that are retiring this catty in the future.  I have been trying to use my stamps that will be retiring with this catty this last little while. I have even had to "cut rubber" on some of them. How sad it that. It's a sign that I might have to many stamp sets.. Who am I kidding you can never have to many stamp!!! This adorable cupcake stamp is from a Stampin'Up level 2 hostess set called "Cause for Celebration" I forgot that I even had this set and almost selected it on my last order.. Big Huh!!  This stamp has a single candle that is in the middle of the cupcake I just masked it if with scotch tape while I inked it. I didn't even have to use my "Stamp-a-ma-gig" (don't look to close) I just use my grid paper to line it up on the paper... If you don't have the grid paper you must add it to your wish list.. It's a must. I let my customers keep the ones they use and extra on the table. The nest time they come to class they tell me how much they have been enjoying them.

HAPPY 4th of JULY to the U.S.A.

We are of to a big sleep over, Movies, Bike parade, neighborhood breakfast and flag ceremony, water party, snow cones and food of course.

Fresh Cut Notes

I finally got to play with the "Fresh Cut" stamp set and Fresh Cut Notes". Both of these are going to be in the new Stampin' Up Catalog that will be released in August. When I punched out the white petals from the note card I knew that I didn't want to waste them. I wanted to put them to good use. So really you can get two cards out of one with the "Fresh Cut Notes" pack.  I am so excited to see the new catalog and all the new things they are going to introduce.

One of the new product is called "DECORE ELEMENTS" it's vinyl baby. Now we can decorate our home and craft rooms with all the amazing images from Stamin' Up. There are a few favorites images and a few new. Have a look at the brochure and see what amazing thing are in-store. This is just the beginning! They will be adding to there line of "Decore Elements" through the year. They have also hinted that there are lot of fun things in store for this new year.
