Kristina's Color Challenge #28

Little close up of the "Emerging Colors" you can find a great tutorial here.
I really had a hard time deciding it I wanted to have the orange scallops on the side of the card or not. My left overs were just staring me in the face a wanted to desperately to be used. Which do you like better of these to cards. With or with our the orange scallops?
If you haven't done this technique you must give it a try it so fun.

Stamp Recipe:
Card stock and Ink - Pumpkin pie, Whisper White, Taken with Teal, Elegant Eggplant,      Versamark pad and pen.
Punch - Scallop edge
Ribbon- Offray
Stamp Sets - Always, Fresh Cuts, Upsy Daisy.
Clear Embossing Powder and Embossing gun, Snail Adhesive and ATG gun.

This is very pretty. I like it without the scallops best. Is this emerging color technique? I really like it.

Wow! I love this card so much...

I think I prefer it without the scallops but the orange around the edge really frames it, so maybe just use the colour as another background layer??

Who am I to judge though - it's a beautiful card whatever. x

Very cool card, Brooke! I had never heard of that technique. I checked it out on SCS. Good job!

It's so stunning that it doesn't need the scallops.

I will definitely be checking out that link! I think it is beautiful either way (with or without scallops) but I think I am siding on the without side cause it makes the orange in the main graphic a special pop!

Gorgeous either way!

definately without the orange scallops unless you were using it as a picture, then I would use the scallops. Love the shine :)
