Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge - #16 - The Wizard of Oz

This week Sankari and I decided to present the "Wizard of Oz". The is a Hugs classic... I think you could probably create a card or project for this movie and not have to even re-watch this move... At our house My DD and I are big fans of this movie.. We have dress up for Halloween at characters from this movie, my DD has a Dorothy barbie, We collected all the Madam Alexander doll from Mc Donald's..  You could say we have had a lot of fun with this movie...

Look at these little legs how cute are they.

Join us inside

Sweet DD as Dorothy (age 2) I did a whole photo shoot with the outfit. Red Ruby slippers of corse.
DS's age 7 & 4.. If you have ever made anything with lame you know how hard it is to sew with. Thank heavens I had my mom around for help....  Sewing on ever lock of doll hair for the lions mane was a job as well... (both worth it! and by dang my 5 year old will wear the tin man costume this year or next mark my word)
Kids picture from the school carnival. Were did the time go.. That tin man will be 16 this coming Friday!
These classic pages are from sooooo long ago my style has changed so much.. I really did have a great time making our families costumes and creating these pages... Back in the day these pages were even selected to be published in "Creating Keepsake" magazine Idea book for the year 1999- or 2000. I don't remember...

A close up view of the whole trick-or-treat gang... Notice there is no snow on the ground... a rare thing for Halloween in UTAH....

Come back soon I will be posting more project for the "Wizard of Oz" challenge over at our challenge blog... Come play along..

Hugs~
Brooke

Brooke, I absolutely LOVE your Oz pages!!! So creative!! I am crazy about Emerald City and how you did all of that!

These pages may be old but they are great! are they 8 1/2 x 11 or are they the 15 inch pages?
